The legacy of John Muir and Theodore Roosevelt continues to shape the country. Both Muir and  Roosevelt were passionate advocates for the conservation of natural resources. This documentary connects thier passion for environmental conservation of both men and California's influence on them.

A historic landmark located in the center of Los Angeles. Completed in 1928, it was the tallest building in the city for many years and is still one of the city’s most recognizable symbols. For a city with many suburbs, it became the anchor that connected its citizens through culture, politics, protest, and civic pride.

A pioneering actress in Hollywood during the 1920s and 1930s. Anna May Wong was one of the first Asian American women to achieve international recognition. Her influence in Hollywood challenged racial stereotypes and paved the way for future generations of Asian American actors.
